The Great Women of Folk and Country Pride Tribute Series highlights the works of some of the most prolific and talented musicians the genre has to offer. Each performance will bring together Seattle’s finest singers to reimagine the works of the featured artists. Curated by Sue Quigley and Carrie Clark.

Tonight's show features the music of Brandi Carlile, Indigo Girls, KD Lang, Tracy Chapman, Brandy Clark, and more!

A necessary salve to today’s troubling times." Award-winning indie folk-pop artist Tara Craig is a Friday Harbor-based singer-songwriter known for her soulful voice and imagery-driven songwriting. After being named Best Female Musician in Austin, Craig brought her artistry to the Pacific Northwest, where she is a powerhouse artist with a sound defined by her voice and her vulnerability. Whether she is performing solo or leading her trio, Craig remains a radiant performer whose "sparrow-like" vocals and authentic emotional depth offer a resonant connection that leaves audiences speechless.

Archer is a Seattle-based musician bringing a modern edge to country, folk, and Americana-inspired live performances. Influenced by both the Seattle and Nashville music scenes, Archer blends honest storytelling, warm guitar-driven arrangements, and an easygoing stage presence that feels both familiar and fresh. Whether playing stripped-down acoustic moments or full-band country covers, Archer focuses on creating live shows that feel genuine, energetic, and rooted in connection.

A dynamic performer and expressive vocalist, Stacy Jones has taken the stage at the Chicago Blues Festival, SXSW, juke joints in Mississippi, riverboats in California, headlined regional festivals, toured Europe and shared stages with ZZ Top, and many other icons. She has been described as "the rolling thunder blues of Howlin’ Wolf mixed with the honesty of Lucinda Williams."

Carly Ann Calbero grew up an hour outside of Seattle, building her sound on Brandi Carlile, Pike Place Market, and the immersive music scene of the Pacific Northwest. Her powerhouse vocals and dynamic playing led to a spot in a national ad campaign for M&M's, and a final spot in Rolling Stone Magazine's Street-To-Stage competition. She is currently writing new music and enjoying her new kiddo.

K Van Petten is an artist based in Seattle, creating from the in-betweens—of music and poetry, folk and alternative, intimacy and expanse, certainty and possibility. A queer, non-binary Gemini middle child raised on the country drop-off outside Chicago, K has always lived in the liminal. Their work is rooted in the belief that songs can hold contradictions at once: ache and sweetness, loneliness and connection, a door left half-open.

Series curator, Sue Quigley was raised in the nuclear plains of Eastern Washington, Sue stole her sister's guitar (abandoned for boys) at 13 and started writing songs about getting out of town and living another life. After graduating from college, fighting forest fires  and getting some heartbreak in, she settled in Seattle and started doing some open mics. Sue has performed at many of Seattle's most venerable music venues, such as the Tractor Tavern, Conor Byrnes,The Showbox, Sunset Tavern,The Crocodile and in several festivals and showcases including  SXSW, Viper Room,NYC's famed Bitter End, and a  showcase in Nashville. Sue also performed for 6000 Seattle Storm fans at center court, a definite career highlight!! She is working on new material and  excited to get these songs out in the world to do what they can do for the listener- that's the key for her, connection with the listener on emotions and issues we all share from time to time and how we grow from challenges  ( like pandemics) into who we're meant to be.
