Celebrating the Art of Miguel Eduardo

SEAF Late Night at Gallery Erato recreates the vibe of Seattle Erotic Art Festival’s late night hours; shaking your tail feathers to unreal DJs whilst surrounded by epic, erotic art. Come dressed to impress and dazzle on the dance floor - from glam to funky to fun to wild costumes, we want you to express yourself just remember to cover your bits. There will be a no-host bar making libations available.

For July 25th, we are exploring the body of work "Countercultire" by painter Miguel Eduaro of Seeking Soma Arts.

We are happy to invite Dave Lowe, a DJ from Dublin who now makes Seattle his home, to help us celebrate this alluring new art show with music. Miguel and diem will be the opening DJs to start the party right! Visit our bootblacks to give yourself and your leathers a treat, while visiting with the artist, enjoying ambient aerial and contortion performances, and dancing, of couse!.

Originally hailing from Dublin, Ireland, DJ Dave Lowe was resident at many local clubs in the mid-90s, including Rio, Lillie's Bordello, System and The Pink Elephant, and was also known as "The Voice of Irish Dance Music Radio" for shows on various pirate radio stations, including Sunset FM, Kiss FM, Hot FM and Q95.

Now living in Seattle, Dave has taken to the decks once more, bringing a European edge to seamlessly-mixed house music sets that take you on a journey through funky, deep, tech and progressive house. In the last five years Dave has played parties at such venues as Watergate in Berlin, The Standard in Los Angeles, the House of Blues in New Orleans, and even a street party in San Francisco where he opened for Steve Aoki. He also entertained the VIP Party during The Groove Cruise in January 2011 with a guest set, and was invited back to play on The Groove Cruise LA in September 2013.

Dave is a member of the De La Crème collective in Seattle and a Soft Option resident. He plays regularly at various Seattle venues and has been a headliner at Flammable, Contour, See Sound Lounge, Q, Trinity, and Monkey Loft.

diem

diem resides in the PNW, having called Seattle home since 2001. He has performed in clubs and at festivals across the US, Canada, Hawaii, and Mexico. He defines his sound as “hardtribaldisco”, which is a blend of tribal Latin rhythms, hard funk, house beats, and breaks, to become the layered evil disco that gets everyone’s booty moving. diem is known for dancing behind the decks and joining the crowd mid-set. Keep track of diem at djdiem.com.

DJ Miguel Eduardo

Miguel Eduardo drops Afro-Latin house beats with a fierce mission: to put Latin culture front and center. No filler, no distractions—just pura cultura produced to move bodies and minds alike. He’s out here fighting for Latin faces in the global house scene, making sure to represent nuestra música in a complicated era. Beyond the decks, Miguel is a visionary painter whose psychedelic and erotic art pushes boundaries and challenges the status quo.

Traviesa

Though she be but little, she is fierce—Traviesa is a performing circus artist, coach, LMT-in-training, costume designer, published poet and yet still a dancer at heart. Studying movement arts since 2016 and performing circus arts since 2021, her repertoire includes spotlight solos, ambient crowdwork, and ensemble cast performances. With a background in dancing and theater, she blends her love of emotional storytelling with circus arts.

Feral Maz is an interdisciplinary artist from Boston, MA, who delights in capturing the imagination of viewers through sculpture, installations, music and interactive performance. Since 2019, Maz has expanded their artistic focus to include circus arts, with contortion and partner acrobatics becoming the main disciplines of their training. And our bootblacks for the night are KhaotiK and Bisuit!

Biscuit (he/him) is a leather dog, bootblack, and all-around geek who loves footnotes, bowties, and cookies. He currently serves as Washington State Bootblack 2025, and is committed to joy and accessibility in the community on and off his stand. He discovered leather via the petplay community in 2016, dove in headfirst, and hasn’t looked back since. He flags houndstooth on the left and grey, hunter green, mint green, and puppy on the right. When Biscuit isn't providing service to his Daddy-Sir JJ or the community, he can be found writing, cataloging video game history, or sniffing out boots and leathers in need of a treat.

Kage (he/it) aka KhaotiK is a Bootblack who blushes beautifully and bites if you ask nicely. He identifies as a service switch, sadomasochist, research switch and he is a proficient Leather worker and amateur aerialist. His knees have been on the floor working the Bootblack stands for 6 months. He has graced the WSLO Social, Boots and Buzz Cuts, Bootblack night, and Leather Reign Summer Splash with his services. Kage flags black, grey, and houndstooth on both sides and with a smattering of orange on the left for debauchery with friends. Find him at the stands and let him love on your Leathers!

Like all SEAF events, this is an art-based, social party. While public displays of affection are encouraged, sexual intercourse is not allowed.

Remember, that hot ‘fit or costume does not equal consent to touch. Getting verbal consent is sexy and mandatory.

SEAF Late Night is a quarterly event at Gallery Erato celebrating erotic art and all proceeds support the Pan Eros Foundation and its programs.
