Approaching consent from a leadership perspective requires an ever-expanding skill set. Join us as we explore what it means to manage issues around consent from a position of power, skills to do that, and some perspective that will take your leadership to a whole new level.

After the information has been gathered and a consent incident has been evaluated, there are still the issues of reviewing the details and creating a plan for holding the people involved accountable for positive change. There are many ways to go about this, some positive and some harmful. Finding the ways that work for you and your organization is important.

This workshop provides an outline for the review process, options for creating an accountability plan, ways to communicate your plan, and how to follow through on it. We’ll review several scenarios to examine what the process might look like in action.

Consent is complicated and full of the unexpected. Consent incidents, even more so. This workshop provides a look at difficult and challenging situations that come up around consent. Using scenarios and discussion, we’ll look at common issues and how to solve them from a leadership perspective. Lots of space will be given for participants to ask questions and bring up their own concerns.
