Seattle Shorts is an annual film festival featuring the artistry of independent film making through inspiring and finding extraordinary films. Our goal is to bring Seattle film lovers the very best short films from around the globe. Seattle audiences love shorts, really Seattle people love to get out of the rain and into see movies of all kinds.

Come join us 14th, and 15th at SIFF Film Center located on the Seattle Center campus for a full weekend of The Best of the Briefs! This year we will be screening 31 of the best shorts films from both local, national, and international filmmakers over six blocks of programming. Every year the Seattle Shorts invites industry professionals to the festival, and this year is no exception we're excited to welcome special guests Lecy Goranson, who you might remember from the TV sitcom Roessane, and Shannon Maree Walsh from the feature film Begin Again starring Keria Knightley.

Also come down, and enjoy our awards ceremony Sunday afternoon at 4:45 where will be handing out awards in the following categories Grand Jury Prize; Best Director; Best Cinematography; Best Actor; Best Actress; Best Documentary; Best Animation; and Best College Student Short. Plus we have our famous audience choice awards where the festival audience gets to vote for the Best of Briefs in each screening block.
